FAQs

Who can use this portal?

Candidates, parents and guardians, experts, observers, examination centres, institutions, faculty, vendors and other stakeholders. Choose the option that describes you in step 1 of the form.

How long does a reply take?

Each category carries a service standard. The acknowledgement email tells you the target for your grievance, and the tracking page shows the current status at any time.

I lost my Grievance ID.

It is in the acknowledgement email sent when you submitted, with the subject “Grievance Acknowledgement”. If you cannot find it, contact the helpline with the email address and examination you used.

Why do you ask for a one-time code?

So that only you can read your grievance. Anyone who knows a grievance number still cannot open it without the code sent to the registered email address.

Can I add documents later?

Yes. Open the tracking page and reply to the grievance; if NTA has asked for information, your reply moves the case back into processing straight away.

What happens after a resolution is provided?

You are told by email. If the answer does not resolve the matter you can reply and ask for it to be looked at again. If nothing is heard, the grievance closes automatically after the configured period.
