Privacy notice

This is a working draft for the project. NTA's legal and privacy team must approve the final text before launch (decision 12 in the delivery plan).

What is collected

Your name, email address and (optionally) mobile number, state and district; the details of your grievance, including the examination, category and any reference numbers you provide; and any documents you attach.

Why it is collected

To verify that the grievance comes from you, to route it to the team that can resolve it, to communicate with you about it, and to produce aggregate statistics about the service.

Who can see it

Only the officers handling your grievance, their nodal officer, and administrators with a defined role. Access is limited by team, and every view and change is recorded in an audit trail.

What is published

Only aggregate counts. No name, contact detail, application number, examination detail, grievance text or document is ever shown on the public pages.

How long it is kept

According to NTA's approved retention schedule for grievance records; audit records are retained separately as required by applicable government directions.
